Saving Black and White and Colour together [Jan. 5th, 2008|10:11 pm]

If you shoot RAW, the camera saves a Standard size JPG too for quick reference. If you set the camera to take Black and White photos it only affects the JPG. So you get a colour RAW and a quick B+W reference shot to let you quickly see how the scene looks in B+W. This is useful if that is your intended end product.

The same is true of Sepia, of course, but a man has to have some standards.

Tips for shooting in low light

Just got my LX2 after owning the LX1. It didn't shoot great in low light, seems like a case of ditto for the LX2. Any tips?
Oh yeah, absolutely excellent to find this forum. Well done!
